Hi there, I am Mahi, Dallas based photographer and crochet artist.

I created MagicsOfIris from my love for creativity, meaningful moments and the beauty hidden in everyday life if we slow down enough to notice it. The name comes from my belief that the world’s magic begins with the way we choose to see it - through our own eyes, experiences, and connections.

Photography has been part of my life since I was young. I have always been fascinated by the way a single image can preserve emotion, memory and moments that words sometimes cannot fully express. What began as curiosity slowly grew into a passion for capturing genuine stories and meaningful memories through my lens.

Crochet entered my life during more difficult seasons and became a creative outlet that brought comfort, calm and a sense of grounding. Over time, it grew into something I truly loved , not only as a craft, but as a way to create thoughtful handmade pieces with care and intention.

Giving back is also an important part of my journey. Through creative projects, fundraisers, and photography sessions, a portion of proceeds supports community and charitable initiatives. I believe creativity can do more than create something beautiful — it can also bring comfort, connection, and positive impact to others.
